Join us for our Saturday Private Tasting Experiences, a unique opportunity to enjoy an intimate, one-on-one encounter with our wines in our unique small tasting room or outside on our quiet covered verandah. Each weekend, we offer guests with groups of up to 6 people a personalized and exclusive tasting session, perfect for those looking to explore the true essence of 16 Mile Cellar in a relaxed and informative atmosphere.
During your private tasting, you’ll be guided through a curated selection of our estate-grown wines, including our signature Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gamay, each reflecting the distinct terroir of the Creek Shores VQA Sub Appellation. Our knowledgeable staff will provide in-depth explanations of the winemaking process, from vine to bottle, and share the story of our commitment to sustainable, low-intervention winemaking practices.
Tastings are $20 per person and will be waived with the purchase of 2 bottles or more.
Winemaker’s Tasting
Join us for an exclusive, private Winemaker’s Tasting Experience, where you’ll be guided by our passionate winemaker through a personalized journey of discovery. In this intimate setting, you’ll learn about our low intervention approach to winemaking, where we focus on letting the natural qualities of our estate-grown grapes shine through with minimal manipulation.
As you taste through a curated selection of our most unique and limited vintages, you’ll gain insight into the intricate process behind each bottle—from vine to harvest, and from fermentation to bottling. Our winemaker will share stories of the vineyard, the distinct terroir of the Niagara Escarpment, and the philosophy that shapes our wines.
This experience is perfect for those who want to deepen their understanding of sustainable winemaking, while savoring wines that showcase the true character of our land. It’s not just a tasting—it’s an opportunity to connect with the heart and soul of 16 Mile Cellar.
